Gürtel der Aphrodite I

My tapestries bring together the weaving and knotting techniques I learned in Bulgaria with the artistic language I developed in Vienna. Each work takes six to nine months to complete, allowing time and the repeated gestures of the hand to become part of its structure. Written language gradually transforms into line, rhythm and ornament, carrying memory beyond legibility. These works connect inherited craftsmanship with contemporary art, tracing a dialogue between the places and traditions that have shaped me.
