The starting point is my own experience: growing up in Burgas on the Black Sea and living in Vienna, where I moved in 1992. Both places are part of me. They shape how I see the world and my sense of belonging.

In my works, writing, colour, and texture come together. Written traces lose their legibility and become lines and forms. I am interested in what remains of a story when its words can no longer be deciphered, a gesture, a trace, a feeling of familiarity.

What is Home? leaves the question of home open.
